    New Pilot

  • The application for membership depends on filling out the membership form on the website and requires approval.
  • The new pilot has 15 days to make his first flight taking off from Vilar da Luz (LPVL) or ou Francisco Sá Carneiro (LPPR).
  • Non compliance of this rule will imply the cancellation of the registration without prior notice.
  • Download the ACARS from the download page.
  • There is no installer, simply download and unzip to a convenient folder on your computer.
  • ACARS requires Windows 7 or higher, .NET 4.5 or higher and FSUIPC. X-Plane users find a folder inside ACARS named X-Plane, copy the folder (AcarsConnect) into (Resources\plugins).
  • Open ACARS, at the bottom left have a button for settings.
  • In (phpVMS) put our website address (https://crew.bsovirtual.com/) in (Your API key) put your API key which is on the page in (Your profile). Enable (Check Beta) and (Show Discord Status Update).
  • Choose your Simulator (you can conf. more than one).
  • Set the path to the root of the Simulator click (Re-Sync Scenery) and (Save).
  • Start up with the simulator and place your aircraft in Vilar da Luz (LPVL).
  • The aircraft must be one of the authorized to your rank.
  • Take an existing flight on the page in “Regular Flights” or fill one in “Flight Charter” to your liking.
  • After landing, go to the park, put the brake, turn off the engine and the lights. Submit the PIREP.

    • Aircraft / Rank

  • The pilot can only use the aircraft that is assigned to his rank.
  • On the website get all the necessary information to the Rank and aircraft.
  • Any flight performed with other aircraft than the one chosen on the Website and/or ACARS will be rejected.
  • The pilot can request the addition of an aircraft. At the end of each month, aircraft parked for a period equal or greater than 7 days return to the respective HUB.

    • Earnings

  • After each flight, you will earn virtual salary, which can be used to purchase items from the Site, such as Jumpseat and Aircraft Transfer.
  • >Members receive virtual salaries according the table published on the Site (Ranks & Awards).

    • Jumpseat / Aircraft Transfer

  • Pilot and aircraft stay at the airport of arrival, you can change your position using "Jumpseat" and "Aircraft Transfer".
  • A "Jumpseat" allows you to instantly change your current location. You can use as many Jumpseats as you like whenever you want, buying the jump with your earnings.
  • The "Aircraft Transfer" allows the Pilot to return an aircraft to its current location
  • On the Site under "Flight Charter" you find information such as; your earnings and current location.
  • After each flight the aircraft stays at the arrival airport for 24 hours and is not eligible for transfer (Aircraft Transfer) during this period.

  • Jumpseat Price/NM - 0.20/NM
  • Aircraft Transfer Price - the system calculates the value according to AVG. CONSUMPTION of the aircraft.

    • Flight reports / ACARS

  • Flight reports will only be approved via ACARS.
  • This is the only method by which flight reports are approved.

    • Active member

  • To stay active you must have one or more flight reports approved within 90 days.
  • "Active" is a mandatory requirement to remain visible in the Pilot list.
  • The member who becomes inactive can request the reactivation of his account at the time he wishes to make the flight.
